Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The angels do not send down mercy upon a woman who wails or a woman who shrieks in lament."
Ahmad and Abu Ya'la recorded it. Its chain contains Abu Miryah; I did not find anyone who declared him trustworthy or criticised him. The rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
