Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 3976

Sayyiduna Abdur-Rahman bin Bashir al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has three children die who have not yet reached puberty, that person will come to Hell only as one passing along the way." The narrator says: This means he will come to it while crossing over the Sirat (the bridge). Its narrators have been declared trustworthy, except al-Tabarani's teacher, Ahmad bin Mas'ud al-Maqdisi, whose case is different; I have not found anyone who gives his biography.
