Majma al-Zawaid 3952 — Patience and consolation through the death

Sayyiduna Sabit (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When a calamity befalls any of you, let him remember the calamity concerning me, for it is the greatest of calamities."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Abu Burdah Amr bin Yazid, whom Ibn Hibban declared thiqah (trustworthy) and others declared da'if (weak).
