Sayyiduna Safwan bin Assal al-Muradi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came to a Jewish boy who was ill. He said: "Do you bear witness that there is no god but Allah Almighty?" He replied: "Yes." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "Do you bear witness that Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah?" He said: "Yes." Then he passed away, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and the Muslims took charge of him; they washed him and buried him.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its chain is hasan (good).
