وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " ثَلَاثٌ مَنْ لَمْ تَكُنْ فِيهِ وَاحِدَةٌ مِنْهُنَّ ، فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ لَهُ مَا سِوَى ذَلِكَ لِمَنْ يَشَاءُ : مَنْ مَاتَ لَا يُشْرِكُ بِاللَّهِ شَيْئًا ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ سَاحِرًا يَتَّبِعُ السَّحَرَةَ ، وَلَمْ يَحْقِدْ عَلَى أَخِيهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ لَيْثُ بْنُ أَبِي سُلَيْمٍ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "There are three things such that, if a person has none of them, Allah Almighty will forgive whomever He wills (from that person's sins other than these): one who dies in such a state that he associates no partner with Allah Almighty, was not a sorcerer who follows the sorcerers, and does not harbour hostility against his brother."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Layth bin Abi Sulaym.
