وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ : سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنْ مَوْتِ الْفَجْأَةِ فَقَالَ : " رَاحَةٌ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ ، وَأَخْذَةُ أَسَفٍ عَلَى الْفَاجِرِ " .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْطَبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ قِصَّةٌ ، وَفِيهِ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْوَصَّافِيُّ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالْطَبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ قِصَّةٌ ، وَفِيهِ عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ الْوَصَّافِيُّ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .
Sayyidah Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about sudden death, and he said: "It is relief for the believer, and a grievous seizing for the wicked person."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani in al-Awsat recorded it. It contains the full story. Its chain contains a narrator, Ubaydullah bin al-Walid al-Wassafi, and he is matruk (abandoned).
