وَعَنْ أَبِي رَيْحَانَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الْحُمَّى مِنْ فَيْحِ جَهَنَّمَ وَهِيَ نَصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنِ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ شَهْرُ بْنُ حَوْشَبٍ وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ وَوَثَّقَهُ جَمَاعَةٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Rayhanah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Fever is part of the heat of Hell, and it is the believer's share of Hell."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Shahr bin Hawshab, about whom there is criticism, and a group declared him thiqah (trustworthy).
