Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 3709

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever recites Surah al-A'raf, Surah al-Najm and Surah Iqra' bismi Rabbika alladhi khalaq, then if he wishes, he may go into bowing (after reciting the verse of prostration), and that will suffice for him; and if he wishes, he may prostrate, then stand up and recite another surah, then bow and go into prostration.
