Book of Faith
بَابٌ فِي قَوْلِهِ : لَا يَزْنِي الزَّانِي حِينَ يَزْنِي وَهُوَ مُؤْمِنٌ ، وَنَحْوِ هَذَا .
The saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The fornicator is not a believer while he commits fornication", and similar sayings

وَعَنْ شَرِيكٍ ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ مِنَ الصَّحَابَةِ ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ زَنَى خَرَجَ مِنْهُ الْإِيمَانُ ، فَإِنْ تَابَ تَابَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ جَمَاعَةٌ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُمْ .

Sharik narrated from one of the Companions that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever commits fornication, faith departs from him; if he repents, Allah Almighty accepts his repentance."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its chain contains a group (of narrators) whom I do not know.
