عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّهُ رَأَى رُؤْيَا أَنَّهُ يَكْتُبُ ( ص ) فَلَمَّا بَلَغَ إِلَى سَجْدَتِهَا قَالَ : رَأَى الدَّوَاةَ وَالْقَلَمَ وَكُلَّ شَيْءٍ بِحَضْرَتِهِ انْقَلَبَ سَاجِدًا قَالَ : فَقَصَصْتُهَا عَلَى النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - فَلَمْ يَزَلْ يَسْجُدُ بِهَا .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he saw a dream in which he was writing Surah Sad. When he reached the place of its prostration, he saw that the inkpot, the pen and everything present there had gone into prostration. He said: I related this dream to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and after that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) always performed the prostration of recitation in this surah.
