Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 363

Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) states: Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was passing along a road, and a black woman was also passing there. A man said to her: "Make way!" The woman said: "The road is there." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Leave her, for she is afflicted with arrogance."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and Abu Ya'la also recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Yahya al-Himmani, whom Ahmad declared da'if (weak) and accused of lying. Al-Bazzar also recorded this narration, and he declared it weak on account of another narrator.
