عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سَلَامٍ قَالَ : قُلْتُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ قَدْ قَرَأْتُ الْقُرْآنَ وَالتَّوْرَاةَ وَالْإِنْجِيلَ ؟ قَالَ : " اقْرَأْ بِهَذَا لَيْلَةً وَهَذَا لَيْلَةً " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ مَنْ لَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ عَتَّابُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ وَغَيْرُهُ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Salam (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I said: "O Messenger of Allah! Should I recite the Qur'an, the Torah and the Gospel (together)?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Recite this one night and that one another night."
