وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ صَلَّى فِي لَيْلَةٍ بِمِائَةِ آيَةٍ لَمْ يُكْتَبْ مِنَ الْغَافِلِينَ ، وَمَنْ صَلَّى بِمَائَتَيْ آيَةٍ فَإِنَّهُ يُكْتَبُ - أَظُنُّهُ - مِنَ الْمُتَّقِينَ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ يُوسُفُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ السَّمْتِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever recites one hundred verses in prayer at night is not counted among the heedless, and whoever recites two hundred verses" - the narrator says: I think the words in the narration are - "his name is recorded among the God-fearing."
