وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّ الَّذِي يَجْهَرُ بِالْقُرْآنِ كَالَّذِي يَجْهَرُ بِالصَّدَقَةِ ، وَإِنَّ الَّذِي يُسِرُّ بِالْقُرْآنِ كَالَّذِي يُسِرُّ بِالصَّدَقَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ مِنْ طَرِيقَيْنِ فِي إِحْدَاهُمَا : بَشِيرُ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ ، وَفِي الْأُخْرَى : إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ضَعَّفَهُ الْأَزْدِيُّ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ مِنْ طَرِيقَيْنِ فِي إِحْدَاهُمَا : بَشِيرُ بْنُ نُمَيْرٍ وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ ، وَفِي الْأُخْرَى : إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ ضَعَّفَهُ الْأَزْدِيُّ .
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The one who recites the Qur'an aloud is like one who gives charity openly, and the one who recites the Qur'an quietly is like one who gives charity secretly."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir through two routes; one chain contains Bashir bin Numayr, who is matruk (abandoned), and the other chain contains Ishaq bin Malik, whom al-Azdi declared da'if (weak).
