وَعَنْ مُعَاذِ بْنِ جَبَلٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ صَلَّى مِنْكُمْ بِاللَّيْلِ فَلْيَجْهَرْ بِقِرَاءَتِهِ فَإِنَّ الْمَلَائِكَةَ تُصَلِّي بِصَلَاتِهِ وَتَسْمَعُ لِقِرَاءَتِهِ ، وَإِنَّ مُؤْمِنِي الْجِنِّ الَّذِينَ يَكُونُونَ فِي الْهَوَاءِ وَجِيرَانَهُ مَعَهُ فِي مَسْكَنِهِ يُصَلُّونَ بِصَلَاتِهِ وَيَسْتَمِعُونَ قِرَاءَتَهُ وَإِنَّهُ يَطْرُدُ بِجَهْرِهِ بِقِرَاءَتِهِ عَنْ دَارِهِ وَعَنِ الدُّورِ الَّتِي حَوْلَهُ فُسَّاقَ الْجِنِّ وَمَرَدَةَ الشَّيَاطِينِ " .
فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ ، وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ بِطُولِهِ فِي بَابٍ فِي صَلَاةِ اللَّيْلِ وَالْكَلَامِ عَلَيْهِ .
فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ ، وَقَدْ تَقَدَّمَ بِطُولِهِ فِي بَابٍ فِي صَلَاةِ اللَّيْلِ وَالْكَلَامِ عَلَيْهِ .
Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever among you offers (voluntary) prayer at night should recite aloud, for the angels pray following his prayer and listen to his recitation. And the believers among the jinn who are in the open air, and who live with him in his house as neighbours, also pray following his prayer and listen to his recitation. Such a person, by reciting aloud, drives away the sinful jinn and the rebellious devils from his house and from the houses around him." After that the narrator mentioned the whole hadith. This hadith has already passed in full in the chapter on the night prayer, and the discussion on it has also passed there.
