Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 3581

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) says: Whenever the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) slept, the tooth-stick (miswak) would be with him, and whenever he woke up, he would first of all use the miswak.
This narration was recorded by Imam Ahmad; its chain contains a narrator whose name has not been given.
