Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 335

Imam al-Tabarani recorded in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir this statement of al-Zubayr bin Bakkar: "Sayyiduna al-Qasim (may Allah be pleased with him) was born to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he was the eldest of his children; then Sayyidah Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her) was born. Sayyidah Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her), the daughter of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), was married to Sayyiduna Abu al-As bin al-Rabi' bin Abd Shams (may Allah be pleased with him), and Sayyidah Zaynab (may Allah be pleased with her) bore him (two children), Ali and Umamah. The son named Ali was a nursing child among Banu Ghadirah, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had him weaned, while his father (that is, Sayyiduna Abu al-As bin al-Rabi' bin Abd Shams) was a polytheist at that time. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: 'Whoever becomes my partner in something, I will be more entitled to that thing; and whenever a disbeliever becomes a partner of a Muslim in something, he (the Muslim) will be more entitled to that thing than him (the disbeliever).'"
Then he mentioned the (rest of the) hadith, and it is munqati' (broken), as you see.
