Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir al-Juhani (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever has someone become Muslim at his hands, Paradise becomes obligatory for him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in all three books; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Mu'awiyah al-Naysaburi, whom Imam Ahmad declared thiqah (trustworthy) while most people declared him da'if (weak); Yahya bin Ma'in said: He is a great liar (kadhdhab).
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Other hadiths on this topic will come in the chapter on jihad, if Allah wills. The hadith narrated by Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) about a person who raises a small child (that is, brings him up) until the child grows old enough to say La ilaha illallah (there is no god but Allah) will come in the chapter on righteousness and maintaining family ties.
