Sayyiduna Usamah bin Umayr (may Allah be pleased with him) said that he prayed the two rak'ahs of Fajr with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); he prayed close to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) prayed two brief rak'ahs. The narrator said: I heard him say: "O Lord of Jibril, Mika'il, Israfil and Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), I seek refuge in You from Hellfire." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said these words three times.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Abbad bin Sa'id. Al-Dhahabi said: "Abbad bin Sa'id narrated from Mubashshir; he is worth nothing." I say: Ibn Hibban mentioned him in the book "al-Thiqat".
