Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 3311

Sayyidah Aishah al-Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to pray two rak'ahs (sunnah) before Fajr, then he would supplicate: "O Allah, Lord of Jibril and Mika'il, Lord of Israfil, Lord of Sayyiduna Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), I seek refuge in You from Hellfire." Then he (peace and blessings be upon him) would go out for the prayer.
Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains Ubaydullah bin Abi Humayd, who is matruk (abandoned).
