Majma al-Zawaid 3252 — Praying before and after the Eid prayer

Abu Tarafah Abbad bin al-Rayyan al-Lakhmi al-Himsi narrates: I came to Sayyiduna al-Miqdam bin Ma'dikarib (may Allah be pleased with him), who was living in a village a few miles from Hims. This was on the day of Eid. We said: Come out and lead us in the Eid prayer. He said: No! Pray individually, each on your own!
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and I do not know the narrator named Abu Tarafah.
