بَابُ الصَّلَاةِ قَبْلَ الْعِيدِ وَبَعْدَهَا 3230 عَنْ أَيُّوبَ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ وَالْحَسَنَ يُصَلِّيَانِ يَوْمَ الْعِيدِ قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ الْإِمَامُ قَالَ : وَرَأَيْتُ مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ سِيرِينَ جَاءَ فَجَلَسَ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى .

عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ قَالَ : قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ : مَنْ فَاتَتْهُ الْعِيدُ فَلْيُصَلِّ أَرْبَعًا رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ
Imam al-Sha'bi narrates that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Whoever misses the Eid prayer should offer four rak'ahs.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
