Majma al-Zawaid 3201 — The takbir in the two Eids

Sayyiduna Shurayh bin Abrahah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him); during the days of Tashriq, from the Zuhr prayer on the day of sacrifice until he left Mina, he (peace and blessings be upon him) used to say the takbir after every obligatory prayer. Al-Shadhakuni says: This is also the way the people of Madinah say the takbir.
Al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Sharqi bin Qutami, whom Zakariyya al-Saji declared da'if (weak); Ibn Hibban mentioned him in the book al-Thiqat, and Ibn Adi mentioned him in the book al-Kamil.
