عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " زَيِّنُوا أَعْيَادَكُمْ بِالتَّكْبِيرِ " رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ عُمَرُ بْنُ رَاشِدٍ ضَعَّفَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَابْنُ مَعِينٍ وَالنَّسَائِيُّ وَقَالَ الْعِجْلِيُّ : لَا بَأْسَ بِهِ
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Adorn your Eids with the takbir!"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Umar bin Rashid, whom Ahmad, Yahya bin Ma'in and al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) declared da'if (weak), while al-Ijli said: There is no harm in him.
