وَعَنْ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ وَعِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَا : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْحَيَاءُ مِنَ الْإِيمَانِ ، وَالْإِيمَانُ فِي الْجَنَّةِ . وَالْبَذَاءُ مِنَ الْجَفَاءِ ، وَالْجَفَاءُ فِي النَّارِ " .
قُلْتُ : حَدِيثُ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ ، وَرَوَاهُمَا جَمِيعًا الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِي مُسْنَدِهِ عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ عَنِ الْمَأْمُونِ ، وَلَمْ أَرَ مَنْ ذَكَرَ عَبْدَ الْجَبَّارِ .
قُلْتُ : حَدِيثُ أَبِي بَكْرَةَ رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ ، وَرَوَاهُمَا جَمِيعًا الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَالصَّغِيرِ ، وَفِي مُسْنَدِهِ عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ عَنِ الْمَأْمُونِ ، وَلَمْ أَرَ مَنْ ذَكَرَ عَبْدَ الْجَبَّارِ .
Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Modesty is part of faith, and faith will be in Paradise; immodesty is part of harshness, and harshness will be in Hell."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith of Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) was narrated by Imam Ibn Majah, and al-Tabarani recorded both narrations in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Saghir. Its chain states that the narrator Abd al-Jabbar bin Abdullah reported it from al-Ma'mun, and I have not seen anyone mention this narrator Abd al-Jabbar.
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: The hadith of Sayyiduna Abu Bakrah (may Allah be pleased with him) was narrated by Imam Ibn Majah, and al-Tabarani recorded both narrations in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Saghir. Its chain states that the narrator Abd al-Jabbar bin Abdullah reported it from al-Ma'mun, and I have not seen anyone mention this narrator Abd al-Jabbar.
