Book of Prayer
بَابٌ فِيمَنْ فَاتَتْهُ الْجُمُعَةُ 3172 عَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّهُ فَاتَتْهُ الْجُمُعَةُ فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنْ يَصَّدَّقَ بِدِينَارٍ رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَقَالَ : لَا يُرْوَى عَنْ جَابِرٍ إِلَّا بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ ، وَالْمَشْهُورُ مِنْ حَدِيثِ سَمُرَةَ قُلْتُ : وَحَدِيثُ جَابِرٍ فِيهِ سَعِيدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ وَقَدْ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ .

وَعَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " إِنَّمَا أَخَافُ عَلَى أُمَّتَيِ الْكِتَابَ وَاللَّبَنِ " قَالَ : قِيلَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ مَا بَالُ الْكِتَابِ ؟ قَالَ : " يَتَعَلَّمُهُ الْمُنَافِقُونَ ثُمَّ يُجَادِلُونَ بِهِ الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا " قَالَ : فَقِيلَ : فَمَا بَالِ اللَّبَنِ ؟ قَالَ : " أُنَاسٌ يُحِبُّونَ اللَّبَنَ فَيَخْرُجُونَ مِنَ الْجَمَاعَاتِ وَيَتْرُكُونَ الْجُمُعَاتِ " رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I fear for my Ummah the Book and milk." The narrator says: It was said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is the matter with the Book?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The hypocrites will learn it and then argue with the believers by means of it." The narrator says: It was asked: "What is the matter with milk?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "People will love milk, and then they will leave the congregation (that is, the congregational prayers) and abandon Jumu'ah."
