Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 3065

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever takes a ritual bath (ghusl) on Friday, then applies the best perfume he has and puts on his finest clothes, then goes and does not separate two people until he reaches his place, then remains silent until the imam finishes his sermon, his sins between the two Fridays and three more days are forgiven."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. Its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Abd al-Rahman bin Rawwad, and he is da'if (weak).
