بَابُ حُقُوقِ الْجُمُعَةِ مِنَ الْغُسْلِ وَالطِّيبِ وَنَحْوِ ذَلِكَ .

وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مِنْ حَقِّ الْجُمُعَةِ السِّوَاكُ وَالْغُسْلُ ، وَمَنْ وَجَدَ طِيبًا فَلْيَمَسَّ مِنْهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَفِيهِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ عِيَاضٍ وَهُوَ كَذَّابٌ .

Sayyiduna Sahl bin Hunayf (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Among the rights of Friday are using the tooth-stick (miswak) and taking a ritual bath (ghusl); and whoever finds perfume should apply some of it."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Yazid bin Iyad, and he is a kadhdhab (liar).
