Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer the Maghrib and Isha prayers together: he would delay one prayer to the end of its time and offer the other early, at the beginning of its time. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: A hadith is narrated from this Companion in the Sahih, but without this wording.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Abu Malik al-Nakha'i, and he is da'if (weak).
