بَابٌ فِيمَا تَقْصُرُ فِيهِ الصَّلَاةَ وَمُدَّةِ الْقَصْرِ .

عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " يَا أَهْلَ مَكَّةَ لَا تَقْصُرُوا الصَّلَاةَ فِي أَدْنَى مِنْ أَرْبَعَةِ بُرُدٍ مِنْ مَكَّةَ إِلَى عُسْفَانَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَعَطَاءٍ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ ابْنِ مُجَاهِدٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ وَعَطَاءٍ وَلَمْ أَعْرِفْهُ وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O people of Makkah, do not shorten the prayer on a journey of less than four barids, which is the distance from Makkah to Usfan."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir as a narration of Ibn Mujahid from his father and Ata'. I do not know this person; the remaining narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).
