وَعَنْ أَوْسِ بْنِ أَوْسٍ قَالَ : أَقَمْنَا عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - نِصْفَ شَهْرٍ فَرَأَيْتُهُ يَنْفَتِلُ عَنْ يَمِينِهِ وَرَأَيْتُهُ يَنْفَتِلُ عَنْ يَسَارِهِ وَرَأَيْتُ نَعْلَيْهِ لَهُمَا قِبَالَانِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ وَمَعَ ذَلِكَ فِي بَعْضِهِمْ خِلَافٌ .

Sayyiduna Aws bin Aws (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We stayed with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for half a month. I saw him (after praying) turning away from his right side, and I also saw him turning away from his left side; and I saw that his sandals had two straps.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy; even so, there is disagreement about some of its narrators.
