Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2822

وَعَنْ أَبِي مِجْلَزٍ قَالَ : صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ فَلَمْ يَقْنُتْ فَقُلْتُ : مَا مَنَعَكَ مِنَ الْقُنُوتِ ؟ فَقَالَ : إِنِّي لَا أَحْفَظُهُ عَنْ أَحَدٍ مِنْ أَصْحَابِي .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Abu Mijlaz narrates: I prayed behind Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, and he did not recite the qunut of calamity. I asked: "What kept you from reciting the qunut?" He replied: "I do not remember this from any of my companions (that any of them did so)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
