Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2781

Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah bin Abi Sufyan (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I began to observe the prayer of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) closely, and I listened to him attentively, and in most of his prayer he would say "Subhana Rabbil-Alamin (Glory be to the Lord of the worlds)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Sadaqah bin Abdullah al-Samin, whom Imam al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him), Imam Muslim and others declared da'if (weak), while Imam Abu Hatim, Duhaym and others declared him thiqah (trustworthy).
