Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2774

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) said that once she found the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) missing from his bed, so she searched for the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with her hand. The hand of Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) fell upon the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) while he was in prostration, and he was saying: "O my Lord, grant my soul its piety and purify it; indeed You are the best of those who purify it; You are its Guardian and its Master."
Imam Ahmad recorded it; its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
