Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 277

وَعَنْ نُعَيْمِ بْنِ هَمَّارٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " الْمِيزَانُ بِيَدِ الرَّحْمَنِ يَرْفَعُ أَقْوَامًا وَيَضَعُ آخَرِينَ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Nu'aym bin Hammar (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "The Scale is in the Hand of the Most Merciful; He raises some peoples and lowers others."
