وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : صَلَّى النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - صَلَاةَ الْفَجْرِ فِي سَفَرٍ فَقَرَأَ : ( قُلْ يَاأَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ ) وَ ( قُلْ هُوَ اللَّهُ أَحَدٌ ) ثُمَّ قَالَ : " قَرَأْتُ بِكُمْ ثُلُثَ الْقُرْآنِ ، رُبُعَهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَفِيهِ جَعْفَرُ بْنُ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ وَقَدْ أَجْمَعُوا عَلَى ضَعْفِهِ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: During a journey, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) led the Fajr prayer and recited Surah al-Kafirun and Surah al-Ikhlas in it. Then he said: "I have recited for you a third of the Qur'an and a quarter of the Qur'an."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. Its chain contains a narrator, Ja'far bin Abi Ja'far, on whose weakness the hadith scholars agree.
