بَابُ مَنْزِلَةِ الْمُؤْمِنِ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِ .

Majma al-Zawaid 268 — The standing of the believer with his Lord
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا - أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ يَقُولُ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ - تَبَارَكَ وَتَعَالَى - أَضَنُّ بِمَوْتِ عَبْدِهِ الْمُؤْمِنِ مِنْ أَحَدِكُمْ بِكَرِيمَةِ مَالِهِ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ عَلَى فِرَاشِهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَنْعَمَ ، ضَعَّفَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ ، وَرَجَّحَهُ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ ، وَفِيهِ عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ زِيَادِ بْنِ أَنْعَمَ ، ضَعَّفَهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَكْثَرُ النَّاسِ ، وَرَجَّحَهُ بَعْضُهُمْ عَلَى ابْنِ لَهِيعَةَ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Allah Almighty is more reluctant over the death of His believing servant than any one of you is over his finest wealth, until He takes his soul upon his bed."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Rahman bin Ziyad bin An'um, whom Imam Ahmad and most people declared da'if (weak), though some preferred him over Ibn Lahi'ah.
