Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 264

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) conquered Makkah, he turned to face it and said: "You are sacred! How great is your sanctity! How pure is your fragrance! Yet the sanctity of the believer in the sight of Allah Almighty is greater than yours."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Mihsan, who is a liar (kadhdhab) who fabricates hadith.
