عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ بُحَيْنَةَ وَكَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " هَلْ قَرَأَ أَحَدٌ مِنْكُمْ مَعِي آنِفًا " قَالُوا : نَعَمْ قَالَ : إِنِّي أَقُولُ مَا لِي أُنَازَعُ الْقُرْآنَ " فَانْتَهَى النَّاسُ عَنِ الْقِرَاءَةِ مَعَهُ حِينَ قَالَ ذَلِكَ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ وَيَأْتِي الْكَلَامُ عَلَيْهِ بَعْدَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ .
رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ وَيَأْتِي الْكَلَامُ عَلَيْهِ بَعْدَ هَذَا الْحَدِيثِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Buhaynah (may Allah be pleased with him), who was one of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), relates about the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Did any of you recite along with me?" The people said: "Yes." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I was wondering why I am being contended with in the Qur'an." (The narrator says:) Then the people refrained from reciting behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) when he (peace and blessings be upon him) said this.
