Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2640

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Previously the people used to recite behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "You have confused the recitation of the Qur'an for me."
Ahmad, Abu Ya'la and al-Bazzar recorded it. The narrators of Ahmad are the narrators of the "Sahih".
