وَعَنْ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ يَأْمُرُ الْمُهَاجِرِينَ أَنْ يَتَقَدَّمُوا وَأَنْ يَكُونُوا فِي مُقَدَّمِ الصُّفُوفِ وَيَقُولُ : "هُمْ أَعْلَمُ بِالصَّلَاةِ مِنَ السُّفَهَاءِ وَالْأَعْرَابِ وَلَا أُحِبُّ أَنْ يَكُونَ الْأَعْرَابُ أَمَامَهُمْ وَلَا يَدْرُونَ كَيْفَ الصَّلَاةُ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَالطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to order the Muhajirun to come forward and be in the front rows, and he would say: "They have more knowledge than the ignorant and the Bedouins, and I do not like the Bedouins, who do not even know how to pray, to stand in front of them."
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani (in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir) recorded it, and its chain is da'if (weak).
