Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) states: We were praying behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and a man began turning over the pebbles with his hand. When he finished the prayer, he turned towards us and said: Which of you was turning over the pebbles with his hand? A man stood up and said: O Messenger of Allah, I was. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: That is your share of your prayer.
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains al-Wazi' bin Nafi', who is da'if (weak).
