Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2446

Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrated this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "When one of you is praying, he should not raise his gaze toward the sky, lest it (that is, his sight) be taken away."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat and al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Ibn Lahi'ah, in whom there is weakness.
