عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ : كُنَّا نُصَلِّي مَعَ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَنَحْنُ نَنْظُرُ إِلَى السَّدَفِ .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَفِيهِ أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْمَدَنِيُّ وَهُوَ مَجْهُولٌ .

Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: Previously, we used to pray behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and during the prayer we would look at the night and its darkness (that is, the sky).
