وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ رِئَابٍ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَرَّ بِي جِبْرِيلُ عَلَيْهِ السَّلَامُ وَأَنَا أُصَلِّي فَضَحِكَ إِلَيَّ فَتَبَسَّمْتُ إِلَيْهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَفِيهِ الْوَازِعُ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Ri'ab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Jibril (peace be upon him) passed by me while I was praying; he laughed on seeing me, and I smiled at him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains al-Wazi', who is da'if (weak).
