بَابُ الضَّحِكِ وَالتَّبَسُّمِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ .

وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ قَالَ : بَيْنَمَا النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يُصَلِّي الْعَصْرَ فِي غَزْوَةِ بَدْرٍ إِذْ تَبَسَّمَ، فَلَمَّا قَضَى الصَّلَاةَ قِيلَ لَهُ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ تَبَسَّمْتَ فِي الصَّلَاةِ ؟ قَالَ : "مَرَّ بِي مِيكَائِيلُ وَعَلَى جَنَاحِهِ الْغُبَارُ فَضَحِكَ إِلَيَّ فَتَبَسَّمْتُ إِلَيْهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ الْوَازِعُ بْنُ نَافِعٍ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with them both) relates: Once, at the battle of Badr, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was praying Asr when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) smiled. When he completed the prayer, it was said to him: O Messenger of Allah, you smiled during the prayer! The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Mika'il passed by me with dust on his wing; he laughed on seeing me, so I smiled at him.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains al-Wazi' bin Nafi', who is da'if (weak).
