Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 2437

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) relates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) spoke during the prayer out of forgetfulness, and he built upon the prayer he had already performed.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains Mu'alla bin Mahdi. Abu Hatim says: He sometimes narrates munkar (objectionable) narrations. Al-Dhahabi says: He is one of the devout, and he is saduq (truthful) in himself.
