وَعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ : فِي الَّذِي يَفُوتُهُ بَعْضُ الصَّلَاةِ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ قَالَ : يَجْعَلُ مَا يُدْرِكُ مَعَ الْإِمَامِ آخِرَ صَلَاتِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) says concerning a person who misses part of the prayer behind the imam; he says: Whatever of the prayer he caught with the imam, he is to make it the last part of his prayer.
