بَابُ مَنْ أَمَّ النَّاسَ فَلْيُخَفِّفْ .
Whoever leads people in prayer should keep it light

وَعَنْ أَبِي مَالِكٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ : صَلَّيْتُ خَلْفَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - وَخَلْفَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ وَخَلْفَ عُمَرَ وَخَلْفَ عُثْمَانَ وَخَلْفَ عَلِيٍّ - رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ - فَلَمْ يَكُنْ أَحَدٌ مِنْهُمْ أَخَفَّ صَلَاةً مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - [ فِي تَمَامٍ ].
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ وَرَوَى الْبَزَّارُ بَعْضَهُ .

Abu Malik al-Ashja'i reports that his father said: I have prayed behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), behind Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), behind Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him), behind Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him) and behind Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him), but none of them offered a shorter, yet complete, prayer than the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih; al-Bazzar recorded part of it.
