وَعَنْ مُعَاوِيَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ لِلنَّاسِ : " إِنْ صَلَّى الْإِمَامُ جَالِسًا فَصَلُّوا جُلُوسًا " .
قَالَ الْقَاسِمُ : فَعَجِبَ النَّاسُ مِنْ صِدْقِ مُعَاوِيَةَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
قَالَ الْقَاسِمُ : فَعَجِبَ النَّاسُ مِنْ صِدْقِ مُعَاوِيَةَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to the people: "If the imam prays sitting, then you also pray sitting." The narrator al-Qasim says: The people were amazed at the truthfulness of Sayyiduna Mu'awiyah (may Allah be pleased with him).
